This is reserved for the administrators to provide advice and important information that will affect how users use the COL forum.

Short Term Weather Events
This forum is for discussing and posting observations of short term weather events that have taken place within the last few days. It could include details of thunderstorms, snow, rainfall, hail, temperatures, etc. Please create a thread for the day, or add your comment to the existing thread if it is related to previous comments there.

Long Term Weather Patterns
This forum is for discussion of longer term weather trends, e.g. monthly or seasonal patterns, droughts, heatwaves, cold snaps, etc.

Climate
An opportunity to discuss climatic change. Particularly welcome might be contributions from members who have long term records and can offer data for their specific location, whilst qualifying these with respect to changes to their site and local environment.

Recording the Weather
For questions, answers, advice and discussion relating to weather recording equipment and observational procedures. This will include the use of conventional equipment and electronic automatic weather stations.

Suggestions
For members to make constructive suggestions about how COL may develop in the future, e.g. to retain and attract members, features in the bulletin, content of the website, etc.

Anything Else
A forum for any other weather or climate related topic that does not fit easily elsewhere!
