I share your concern. My December rainfall total for Elderslie just to west of Paisley in west of Scotland currently stands at 311.2mm. My rainfall record for any month is 353.8mm in December 2006 (46 year record in area). In November 2015 I recorded 319.6mm giving a Nov/Dec total of 630.8mm to date...
