Had the wettest day since 25th June 2007 on the 28th with 39·4 mm in the gauge from midnight to 2230 UTC.

The monthly total for June 2017 stands at 112·2mm to 2100 UTC on the 30th.

The 18th was also a warm day up here. Warmest day of the year to date with 27·0c. The third warmest June day in eleven years.

Highest dewpoint so far this year with 20·2c attained at 1333 UTC on the 19th.

The wettest day here since 7th July 2012 with 30·9 mm in the gauge.

Wind gusted to a maximum of 24 knots, so nothing too bad although some twigs and small branches down.

Barometer fell to 982·9 mb at 0924 UTC.

I've used a "normal" thermometer with the bulb encased in wax to retain the temperature as its read, and (like Michael has done) used a plastic piece of pipe hammered into the ground.

The thermometer is attached to a length of string and capped off with a old bottle top.

Still a very dry April so far with only 8·8mm recorded up to 2100 UTC on the 18th.

No real heavy rain for a while now.

A low humidity for this station on the 25th with a minimum RH of 48% at 1550 UTC. The lowest since Aug 29 2016.

It's been overcast misty and damp since the 15th here, along with drizzle at times and light winds.

Pressure has remained high.

Today (18th) is cold, damp, and overcast again.
