Normality Returns to Devon

Post by Nicholas Gardner » Sun Mar 04, 2018 1:56 pm

The rare novelty of Devonshire snowfall last Thursday quickly wore off and by Saturday it had all but melted.

And today is thankfully, back to normality! Sunshine and a few light showers, and more importantly a temperature of around 10°C. Certainly no heatwave but a welcome change from those absurdly low temperatures experienced on Thursday and Friday.

Feb to March 2018 minimum and maximum temperatures:
20th 4.9 12.1
21st 1.0 10.2
22nd -0.4 7.1
23rd -1.7 4.8
24th -0.1 7.3
25th -0.6 7.3
26th -1.9 3.6
27th -3.4 3.7
28th -4.8 1.2
1st -4.4 -1.7
2nd -1.7 0.9
3rd 0.8 5.9
4th 5.1 10.1

Looking forward to something more spring-like.....
