February 'Warmth'

This February is turning out to be warmer than the average and since the 13th there has been a notable run of mild 'double-figure' days. A few cold nights thrown in but the strengthening sun is helping the days warm up somewhat. It has also been drier than normal with 9.6 mm falling since the 8th and the monthly total now standing at 39 mm.

The birds and plants seem to think spring has arrived. I suppose it has in a way, but March 2013 is still fresh in my mind - brrrr!
