Wet first half of April

Post by Len Wood » Mon Apr 16, 2018 10:18 pm

Rain total to 16th, 74.2 mm.
That's 111% of average.

The second half cannot possibly be as wet looking at the medium term forecast.
But I would not be surprised to see the 100 mm total being reached by the end of the month.

We had 142.9 mm in 2012 followed by a wet June July and August.
This can't happen this time because the winter 2012 was fairly dry.

This year's winter has been wet, so I expect the climate to readjust and give us a dry summer.
Is this wishful thinking?
