An opportunity to discuss climatic change. Particularly welcome might be contributions from members who have long term records and can offer data for their specific location, whilst qualifying these with respect to changes to their site and local environment.

Spring rainfall record

Post by Len Wood » Fri Jun 24, 2016 3:01 pm

Looking at Wembury's Spring rainfall, there is a very small increasing trend of magnitude 15 mm 1985 to 2016.
The standard deviation (expected variation about the average) is 51 mm.
As the trend is much less than the standard deviation it is certainly not statistically significant.

Updated Spring rainfall.
Rather average despite a dry April.
