Davis VP2 Datalogger

Has anyone else found discrepancies between max and min temperature data using the console and datalogger spreadsheet? There are 3 ways to read out the maximum temperature on a given day: using the "high" button on the console on the day of the max temperature, using the "high" button on the following day (but reading back to the previous day), and reading it out on the downloaded datalogger spreadsheet. I have done a 10 day test and found that almost invariably the figure which most agrees with the data spreadsheet is that obtained by using the "high" button on the actual day the temperature was recorded. In other words there is an error in using the "high" button the following day. The error, however, varies from too high to too low, so there is no consistency there!
